因應全球AI科技發展需求殷切，算力即電力，北美電力需求大增，但當地公部門與大型電力公司對電力設備的安全與性能要求嚴格。對此，三江電機上半年完成依IEEE（美國電氣電子工程師協會）與CSA（加拿大標準協會）規範設置之實驗室建置，並通過UL與cUL嚴格查驗程序，取得最終認證核可。這次，通過認證的15kV-25kV三相油浸式亭置變壓器，具高耐受度、低損耗等關鍵優勢，能充分對應北美應用場景，進軍北美變壓器市場勢在必得。
看準變壓器市場的成長潛力，合正科技同步擴增產能與國際認證，今年5月甫斥資新台幣12.04億元購置三江電機第二廠區，為強化供應能力、擴大產能，支撐未來國內及海外市場接單成長；此次取得北美認證，與擴廠增量策略相互呼應，雙軌並進布局，推升整體營運規模。
Spectrum (5381) announced that its subsidiary San Jiang Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd. has successfully obtained dual product safety certifications from UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and Canadian Electrical Product Safety Certification on July 18, 2025. This formally grants the company sales qualification for 15kV-25kV three-phase oil-immersed pad-mounted transformers in the North American market, marking a crucial step in expanding its international power equipment market footprint.
In response to the urgent global demand for AI technology development, where computing power equals electrical power, North American electricity demand has surged significantly. However, local government departments and major power companies have strict requirements for the safety and performance of electrical equipment. To address this, San Jiang Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd. completed the construction of a laboratory built according to IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and CSA (Canadian Standards Association) standards in the first half of the year, and passed UL and Canadian Electrical Product Safety Certification's rigorous inspection procedures to obtain final certification approval. The certified 15kV-25kV three-phase oil-immersed pad-mounted transformer features key advantages such as high tolerance and low loss, fully addressing North American application scenarios, making its entry into the North American transformer market inevitable.
Recognizing the growth potential of the transformer market, Spectrum-Electrics Corporation is simultaneously expanding production capacity and international certifications. In May this year, the company invested NT$1.204 billion to acquire San Jiang Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd.'s second plant facility to strengthen supply capabilities, expand production capacity, and support future domestic and overseas market order growth. This North American certification achievement complements the factory expansion and capacity increase strategy, with dual tracks progressing in parallel to boost overall operational scale.
